This was a FREE show/party at the O'Neill Parish Hall in Madoc.
It started at 8:30pm on until 1:30am. I had to work late so i missed the majority of the show but from what I understand, Notwithstanding made a special guest appearence. Then The Vinyl Riot took the stage and played what I believe was a great set...what else can you expect...This is when I got there...We set up and played a fun set with Daryl Corelli pounding away on the drums...After our set we did "Drain You" by Nirvana as a request from the crowd and it just happened to be 11:59 as we were coming to the end of the song so the lyrics turned into 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year...it ws fun fun fun...til my daddy took my t-bird away...After all that Troy played a set of acoustic songs and Alex and Mark played "Leper Song" by New End Original with the house piano...
Thanks to each and every person who chose the non alcoholic new years show over a party with a bunch of drunken fools/friends... And a big thanks goes out to Troy for putting the great event on. All his hard work through out the year has been muchly appreciated.
