This was a fun evening, It was a Halloween Show at the O'Neill Parish Hall in Madoc. The evening started off with a nice set from The Moral Code who's music fit a horror movie that was playing in the background, then a punk band played some rancid and nofx covers. After that Hollow Earth took the stage and had a handful of technical problems, then The Vinyl Riot climbed aboard with a total rock out set (including Nirvana's rendition of Molly's lips and there own version of John Lennon's "Imagine")...good stuff...From this point Blind Ambition hit the tiles with Alex on bass and to most peoples surprise played "as" Nirvana. The crowd really got into it, singing along and jumping all over the place...check out that set list...HOT!!! To close the evening was Back from the Dead (A.K.A. notwithstanding) with a solid and fun set.

Troy (the organizers review)

I just want to send a shout out and thank eveyone who helped out with the halloween show. The bands were great! We got off to a late start but ended right on time. The Moral Code started the show of right with the spaztic sounds they do best. The percussion and the vocal effects really added a erie feel perfect for a halloween show. Then Drop Out took the stage and busted out awesome originals, cool covers like Rancid, Op Ivy, NOFX and Lars Fredrickson stuff. Hallow Earth had quite a few technical problems but still manage to sound great. They cut their set short due to the problems though. The Vinyl Riot were the next to take the stage and they rocked the house indeed. There was a lot of dancing going on. There was a suprise for us all by the next band, Nirvana showed up, well you know who played a whole set if Nirvana, Blind Ambition of course. The audience screamed along loudly to every song. Then Back from the Dead took the stage and busted out the crazy hardcore sounds. I think they scared some people away from the show with the insanity. Crimson Ghost represented with a Misfits song to end the night. (I played drums, he, he) So ya all in all it was an awesome show!!
