Back in Bancroft on a wonderfully sunny day. The only problem were the bugs when the sun went down. Uneven Ground was suppost to play but they had some major problems with their van so at the last minute we were called in.
I know we had less that 24 hours to get people to come out, but it is my mission to find a way to get more people in bancroft out to shows.
After opening with "End" and having some guitar and monotor issue things started to shape up. There was a very avid crowd that wanted to here some covers and we did give in to one full cover after twisting Matts arm, which was "Something In The Way" by Nirvana as Sam was requesting it well before we even took to the stage. Shortly after that we were infored that they were running so far behind that we could only have one more song when we were only half way through our set. After being called a pessimist, Mark was out voted 2-1 for what song to play last...So "Hostage" it was, and Mark's comment to that was..."i'm a hostage in this band".
We Played:
End
Safe Haven
Sadder Day
Something In The Way (Nirvana cover)
Mother Mary (Far cover)
Hostage (New End Original cover)
