This was an all-ages, non-profit, pay-what-you-can show and it was a lot of fun, there was not a much room for anything but there was enough to have a good time. We had 2 guest singer, Mark Meeks (of Thin and Fading and Exact Match) graced us with his voice on Mother Mary and an unknown girl requested and sang Today by the Smashing Pumpkins and Jay (from Exact Match) joined in on the keyboard...it was a good time had by all in the basement...I think we played good as a band...by the fun factor made it great no matter how we played...Thanks to Exact Match for the use of their equipment (including the keyboard)...also playing was Giant Sons (Winnipeg, MB), Down And Out (ex-members of One Of These Days) (Winnipeg, MB), Exact Match (Ajax, ON)

This is the review from the "908 Basement" page

Giant Sons (Winnipeg, MB) - Energizing and fun, this instrumental progressive rock band drank the last can of beer with the rings still attached!
Down And Out (Winnipeg, MB) - Cool band, lots of fun to rock out to and we did. The first moshing and dancing to ever go down at our place happened during their set. Great dual vocals, and good and loud.
Blind Ambition (Belleville, ON) - Played a really fast, tight, _loud_ set with much intensity. And incredibily, they didn't get tired either.
Exact Match (Ajax, ON) - I missed their set, but Zack was raving about it. They have keyboards (?!?) and a sound more complex than I had originally thought. Gonna have to listen to the CD soon.
