About Me

I was born in the summer of 1981 in Belleville Ontario. I spent the first 17 years of life growing up in Tweed Ontario, attending St. Carthagh Catholic Elementary School, Centre Hastings Secondary School in Madoc for 3 years and finished off my education at St. Theresa Catholic High School in Belleville. I grew up in a rural area with grandparents on both sides of the family being farmers. This opened up a lot of opportunities to learn a great deal about livestock and harvesting but I was more interested in where I could find the best pond to play hockey on or the best barn to climb through the hay. I started skating at a young age and spent a big part of my childhood focusing on a future in the NHL. As I entered into my teenage years I found it very easy to break bones which interfered with my road to the NHL.
